TPO Welding Rod
TPO plastic welding rod is used when welding TPO or TEO plastic.
TPO (Thermoplastic Olefin) TPO is a blend of polypropylene and a small amount of thermoplastic rubber, which enhances paint adhesion and flexibility. It is sometimes referred to as TEO (thermoelastic olefin).
In the automotive industry, TPO is used in bumper covers, air dams, grilles, interior parts, and instrument panels. TPO is also used to make snowmobile cowls.
Each welding rod measures 12 inches (30 cm) in length.
Identifying TPO:
Symbols: TPO, PP+EPDM (Polypropylene + Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer), PP+EPM, P/E
